T.R. Miller Field House
Front Entrance
As you walk through the front doors of the field house there is the trophy case that holds all the state championship trophies as well as the runner up trophies. With each trophy there are items from those years for fans to relish upon.
Trophy Case
Holds Blue Maps from: 1969, 1984, 1991, 1994, 2000, 2002
Red Maps from: 1986, 1990, 1995, 1996, 1998
Team Meeting Room
This room is used for study hall, team meetings, local youth baseball meetings and quarterback club meetings. It also houses a 50 inch plasma TV for the Quarterback Club to watch the previous weeks games on. The Football team uses this room to have pregame position meetings as well as a video room. The room is decorated with Miller memorabilia of years past.
Weight Room
This room is one of the places where games are won on Friday night. The Tiger weight room is approximately 3750 square feet and has ten full body weight racks. The mens basketball team and baseball team also use this weight room.
Hall of Champions
As you walk down the Hall of Champions you can see memorabilia displayed from the State Championship years of 1969, 1984, 1991, 1994, 2000 and 2002, as well as the undefeated team of 1941.
Locker Room
The locker room is a massive dressing area of 1800 square feet with 65 six foot tall lockers that outline the room. The walls are decorated with team pictures of championships from years past as well as commemorative wall plaques that can be purchased through the T.R. Miller Quarterback Club so you can be apart of this building forever.
Training Room
This area of the field house is used for medical purposes. There are three taping tables and lots of cabinet space to store all the necessary medical supplies. There is also an ice machine, refrigerator and whirl pool that is used for rehab. Also, a few years back this room took on another name, the PB&J room. This is where Tiger players can feed their bellies all the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches that they can hold.
Andrew Zeke Johnson Equipment Room
Named after the most famous man in T.R. Miller Athletic History, Andrew “Zeke” Johnson equipment room is the storage area for all the football equipment such as: footballs, shoulder pads, helmets and all game jerseys and pants. This room also has two industrial size washers and an industrial size dryer, where the players have their cloth washed every day.
Defensive Meeting Room
This room houses the weekly defensive game plan meetings as well as computers and the video editing system. Just like the offensive meeting room, this side also has three assistant coaches offices.
Offensive Meeting Room
Staff meetings are held in this room and weekly offensive game plans are put together here during the season. There are three assistant coaches offices on this side of the building as well as a coaches bathroom and shower. This room also has the PA system in it so Tiger players can listen to music all throughout the building while lifting weights or getting ready for practice. Wall displays include pictures and information about many Tiger teams of the past.
Coaches Office
Each coach has his own individual office and displays pictures and other memorabilia from his career on his walls.
Coach Riggs Office
Coach Riggs office is a little bigger than the other assistant offices and contains a personal bathroom and shower.
Brewton Municipal Stadium
The Tigers have been playing their games on Friday night here since 1965. The home and away bleachers combined hold 4500 people. The first ever game played in Brewton Municipal Stadium, the T.R. Miller Tigers defeated the Monroeville Tigers 7 to 0. The field has hosted five state championship games.
